Subject: PDK SCHOOL BENCHES

Dear Rotarians and friends,

Good evening to all.

Yesterday was one of the very most remarkable day in the history of our club. Yes! unlike any other programme we have given away school benches in PDK in the presence of Visiting GSE Team.

We assembled at West Marredpally park at 9.30 AM and proceeded to PDK. At about 11.30 AM class rooms were inaugurated with new benches upto 5th std at Z.P.Highschool, Pedakandakur by GSE team.

The amount spent was the remaining from Poland matching grant obtained for yadagiripally school benches project.

Our group comprised of IPP Rtn.Rajesh Pamnani, Rt,Lokesh Jain, Rt,Ramayya garu, Rt.Vaman Rao garu, Dr.Kailash gupta & Rt.Amarnath. The GSE team was - Rt.Dennnis Devor, Ms.Amy, Ms.Amanda, Mr.Troy & Mr.Michael.

Mr.Amar N Gupta, CMD Premier Explosives and his staff have organised a grand gala ceremony along with local sarpanch, press, media, about 200 villagers and 100 school children.

After the speech of sarpanch, our secretary Rtn.Ramayya garu described about the activities of our club with special emphasis on service projects. His speech was very precise, very catchy and was applauded repeatedly. The highlight of his speech was that he also translated his speech from Telugu to English so that GSE team understands us.

After inauguration Mr.Gupta explained about the service activities taken up by themselves in the area, given a brief note about PEL and a delicious lunch was served after which we returned back.

The programme was very meticulously planned and it was really a rare oppertunity and coincidence that we could depict ourselves and win the appreciation of GSE team.

We once again thank Dr.Kailash Gupta, Mr.amarnath for their impeccable service mind in making this programme a grand success.

With this we were also requested by neighbouring villages to provide them safe drinking water ( as the water contains high flourin level in this area) and a couple of projects are in the offing from our club.

I am sure that in our next endeavour you all will participate in full strength and encourage for betterment.

Thanks & regards,
for Rotary Club of SEcunderabad Sunrise
