Medical and Eye camps were conducted on 27.01.2008 at Godhumakunta village near Keesara gutta. The camp was conducted in ZPH School in the village. Doctors from Sadhu Ram Eye hospital have conducted Eye Camp to detect the cases of catracts and prescribed spectacles for the needy patients. Ultimately 10 partients suffering from catracts were identified and were takend by doctors of Sadhu Ram Eye Hospital in their bus to the hospital for surgeries. 180 people of the village and surroundings hamlets attended the camp and got benefited. Further 50 people were identified having the need to wear glasses. It was decided to donate glasses to all these needy people.

The following doctors have participated and contributed for other checkups Dr. Surender, Dentist., Dr. Mrudula Verma, gynecologist., Dr. Shankar Mahadhev, susrusha Poly Clinic, Dr. A. subhash, Senior Medical Officer, (Retd.), APSRTC, Dr. Swamy, Retd. Civil Surgeon. Medicines were distributed to the needy as per the prescriptions of the above doctors

The camp was highly successful with the involvement of volunteers from the local public and also with active support from sarpanch of the village. Volunteers who are Non Rotarians viz Mr. Victor Joseph & Janardhanan, Mr. Chandra Sekhar and Mr. Venu Gopal Reddy have actively contributed for the success of the camp. Further Mrs. Anitha Srinivas surpanch of village has actively cooperated for the success of the camp.
