Rotary District 3150 – Designated Day: Maternal & Child Health

RCSS organised a Maternal & Child Health initiative at an Anganwadi Centre, Tirumalagiri, Hyderabad, as part of the Rotary District 3150 designated day.

Key Activities:
1. Nutrition Support: Nutritious food was donated to support the health and nutritional needs of mothers and children.
2. Rotary Awareness: Our Rotarian explained the various activities and community service initiatives undertaken by Rotary.
3. Health Awareness: Awareness was created among mothers regarding the importance of maternal and child health, nutrition, hygiene, and preventive care.
4. Government Schemes: Information was shared about various Government schemes and benefits available for mothers and children through the Anganwadi. RCSS supported in bridging the gaps between the beneficiaries and the available Government schemes and services, ensuring that eligible mothers and children are able to access the benefits effectively.

The initiative was successfully conducted with the objective of promoting healthy mothers, healthy children, and a healthier community.
