Speaker Meeting at Hotel Nakshatra at 9:00 am.

Dear Rotarian,

This meeting was conducted jointly with RC Spectrum. The Venue is Hotel Nakshatra, Paradise circle. The Speaker is very well know Authority on Foriegn affairs , foriegn policy think tank. He is Contempory Late. Prof. Subramanyam,a great Stategic thinker of foreign policy since the time of Indian Independence.

Briefly he has out lined the relations between India and US from Independence to till date. US being the sole world power today. wants to dominate the world and its priorities will match to our expectations some times and with us based on their national interest. The converging points are the Democracy, Free press, free judiciary etc. The diverging points include Support to Pakistan for their survival to support Muslim world , China etc.
He has incisively analyzed the failure the failure of our policy lacking the term view and putting National Interest beyond ideological interpretations.

Ultimately he concluded that, India and US are very close Now for the betterment of both the nations . Later Interactive session was held. Members were happy to get enlightened by the vast knoeledge the Speaker had on this subject.
Later on both the President i.e. Rtn. Surender and Rtn. Shankar thanked the Speaker.
